A random assortment

Uno and I have been enjoying the emergence of spring by hacking around.  In his last lesson he was a SPICY potato - really yee hawing after the jumps, and I actually got off and my trainer got on.  At first, she thought we might need a bit, but then she noticed that when she put her outside hand into his neck, and just half halted with the inside rein he stopped pulling against her immediately.  So back on I popped and we successfully jumped a few courses, trotting in when I needed to for confidence.

I am going through my closet and getting rid of anything that doesn't fit or is over frumpy/ too far into the 40 year old art teacher category.  I have also been replacing broken, worn out or old things.  Hence the shoe pic - I really like them.  They are flats that look dressy, require no socks, have toe space, and are just art teacher-ish enough.
Meanwhile, spring is POPPING - I know these are an invasive tree that smells bad, but when they bloom and the grass starts to turn crazy green I can feel the SADs leaving my body.  In the spring cleaning madness, I also sorted my candles and other home stuff.  Next on the list is the tack room - saddle pads I am coming for you!!!

Also, please to see this absolute MADNESS I saw driving home the other day...   sir your trailer is smaller than your horses....
