Lew actually started improving! He now gets solo turnout at night, and walkies every other day. The big hole has scabbed over, and like the leg is actually leg-shaped again!! I even let him have a few hours out with the rest of the boys after I rolled out a fresh round bale.

Behold LEG!! |
 |
So normal, such horse. |
 |
Seriously, such joy in seeing him act like the test of the crew. |
Uno had both a meh lesson, and an awesome one. In the Meh lesson, I really pushed it and tried to jump some of the things the previous lesson had set up (for a horse going NOVICE) and Uno was game until he wasn't. He said No at a tall airy vertical. Then said no to a lot of things. So I hopped off, lunged him over all of it. Hopped back on and put a sweet little course together. We avoided the red jump of doom after getting over it with one side dropped and he was a perfect potato.

Drop one side and it is easy peasy... |

The oxer was easy all the time - who are we? |
Then we had a dressage lesson where we worked on shoulder fore, and our turn on the haunches, and turn on the forehand. Shocking my right leg issues made an appearance, and it took a bit of fooling around to figure out. For me to put my leg on correctly, I need to think of increasing the bend on my knee. Not squeezing, not lifting, not kick. Just point the knee more to the ground and close the hinge. Then my right leg just does the correct stuff... nerve damage y'all it's confusing.
We have also welcomed Spring with new hay, and new fly gear.
