A real arena is a dream

Even if it is only 1/2 finished.  My Dad came over a few weekends ago and helped us with some of the bigger jobs.  We cleared out the arena space and use 12 foot 2x4s and cinder blocks to make a 60x120 dressage arena.  We have begun prepping the suface to be disked.  Right now we will not be adding footing just riding on the dirt.  It is far from perfect but i can ride the shapes I need for my dressage tests and I have been using the felled trees to create mini cross country jumps for the boys to play with. 

Life is good people.  It just is.
