Barn Updates

So in between the weirdest May weather, we have been putting work in on the barn.
So many trips to Lowes

The best helpers possible: My Dad and my dog!

Dad and I put in the rest of the exterior stall walls - we are debating how we are going to fill the tops of the long walls.

Looking very professional.

This is what we are dodging as we work. We have had 4+ inches in the last 7 days.

We got 6 yards of screening delivered.

We level the screenings and added mats.

Nailing down our edges.

Looking fancy

This is Dutch's new favorite spot.

Inside vs Outside horse.  We are still using the stalls in the shed for feeding and overnight (the storms have been really bad)

But as soon as they get turned out Dutch walks up the hill to the new barn.

It is huge and airey for them.

Happy boys.

Our next steps this weekend are to finish out the spacers on the stall fronts, install the dividing wall (it will probably only be 4 feet tall), and finish out the exterior short walls.  If we have time we will do another layer on the long exterior walls.
